Paul W. Painter III: A Personal Injury Lawyer on a Mission

When it comes to getting justice for the injured, very few attorneys in Georgia bring the same level of commitment and passion as Paul W. Painter III. He is a dedicated personal injury attorney serving clients in Savannah and the entire state of Georgia.

Paul has built a career with an aim to represent the victims of serious injury who have suffered because of other people’s negligence. As the founder of Bowen Painter Injury Lawyers, he is known to be a strong advocate and skilled litigator offering ethical representation to clients.

A Strong Foundation in Law and Justice

Paul’s journey started with his graduation from Benedictine Military School back in 1995. He went ahead to obtain a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia before joining Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where he got his J.D. Even while still in school, Paul’s passion and desire to serve and help people were very clear.

He served five years as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy and managed to attain the lieutenant rank. During his service to his country, he was deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle and was even part of the first invasion of Iraq. All this experience dealing with and interacting with people shaped his approach to personal injury law.

Dedicated to His Clients and His Community

After law school, Paul started working as a tractor-trailer litigation attorney here in Savannah. However, he quickly discovered his true calling was working one-on-one with individuals. He moved on to work with some top firms before starting his own practice.

Paul has represented various clients and managed to get hundreds of millions as compensation for his clients. He has dealt with cases in Savannah and even nationwide.

He believes in being actively involved in professional and community activities. Paul is a former president of the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association and serves on various State Bar Committees as a Fellow of the State Bar of Georgia. Other positions he has held in the past in the spirit of working in the community include:

  • Chair of State Bar of Georgia’s General Practice and Trial Section
  • Member of Mercer Law School Alumni Association Board of Directors

These are just some of the few notable participations, which show just how much he is committed to serving his community and his extensive knowledge of the Georgia laws.

A Respected Advocate

Apart from being a respected personal injury lawyer, Paul acts as a special master in Georgia, a position that around 20 lawyers hold in the entire state. This means that he was appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to act as a judge when the State Bar of Georgia presents cases involving other attorneys.

This gives him the authority to preside over hearings, present a report to the Supreme Court regarding the matter, and decide the right attorney discipline.

Paul is respected by peers and opponents for his tenacity. His extensive knowledge of legal issues and ability to connect with clients has earned him the reputation of being a trusted personal injury lawyer.

Paul W. Painter III is more than just a personal injury lawyer. He is a mission-driven advocate who fights for his clients to ensure justice is served. His clients do not just view him as a competent attorney. They see him as a partner who truly cares for his clients.
